Reading Dr. Westover's story I felt I was living it alongside her. I've lived parts of it in reality; the beauty of her prose heightens my understanding of these shared and parallel experiences. Dr. Westover gives a powerful voice to the ambiguity of the human experience, reminding readers that, while reality is subjective, every experience creates meaning and gives shape to our lives.
Really good book. I want to know more about her! Hope she writes another book.
Read this in one day. The story is gripping there was so much trauma. I do not know where to start in what I think of Tara’s parents, so I will not waste space, they have already taken up to much space on earth. Tara should be proud of her accomplishment, and her survival.
Absolutely captivating, I loved this book!
Thank you. You are so right about how the people you love can make you question your own sanity. Or how I have questioned my sanity for my entire life. Thank you for these words. Karen
